Surgical Dental Assistant/Office Relations Coordinator
I have been in the dental profession for over thirty years, and have had the pleasure of working for the last twenty-one years as Dr. Larry Shapiro’s surgical assistant. I have found that everyday brings new techniques and learning opportunities. I have been fortunate to have been part of an FDA study for bovine bone, and have traveled to Canada to take part in a Branemark implant study group. Working for Dr. Shapiro and the office staff has been a wonderful experience in my career. I am married and I have one son.

Alba is characterized to have a cheerful and friendly personality, she also helps as a dental assistant.

She currently holds a dental assistant certificate with expanded duties, an associate’s degree in Biology, and is currently pursuing a degree in dental hygiene. Being experienced in both dental assisting and front desk duties has given her the opportunity to experience all phases of dentistry. Kathy was originally with our sister office located in Pembroke Pines and is now a part of our team in Coral Springs serving as a Treatment coordinator and Financial Coordinator.
I am a Florida Certified Dental Assistant with over 38 years of experience. I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Eric Rothstein for the past 36 years in all phases of Dentistry. Throughout the years I have expanded my training as a treatment Financial Coordinator and I take pride in making sure that our patients are informed about their treatment to insure that they have a positive and comfortable experience. When I am not working, I enjoy spending my free time with my family and friends, traveling, and making great memories.
Licensed Dental Hygienist
At a very early age I discovered my passion for dentistry. I was able to attend the magnet program at Atlantic Technical High School, where I obtained my certification in Dental Assisting Technology with Expanded Functions at the age of 16. I continued my college studies in science and received my license in Dental Hygiene from Sanford Brown College in 2016. I am very proud to say that despite my young age I have almost 10 years of experience in all phases of dentistry. When I am not seeing patients my favorite hobbies include working out and photography. Twice a month I volunteer with the Meals On Wheels program helping the elderly fight hunger. I also have a toddler and he keeps me very busy!
